I
few posts back I quickly mentioned I had gotten Innocent World's Mook
in the mail - a 54 pages dive into the beautiful world of this
delicate lolita brand - and I thought I should share my impression of
it.
IW
has always been my favorite brands in the lolita genre. Most brands
has a wide range of items that I would love to own some day, but IW just has a special corner of my heart occupied. I think it's because their
clothes have a nice mix between classic elegancy and innocent
sweetness. Ladylike and youthful at the same time. I tend to fall for
anything classic that lean more towards the sweet side while still
maintaining a more sophisticated feeling, and I find a lot of their designs
do.
Prints throughout the years displayed in the textile museum!
I really wish I could read the written parts of this mook though, because I think it would give a deeper insight of the brand. I was especially looking forward to the "lessons for classical styles, "365 days with Innocent World", and "textile museum" (witch was mostly pictures, anyway!), and I'm so sad I can't read more into it, haha.
All in all I'm very happy about purchasing it, and I'm so in love with the violin tote bag that came along with it. Probably the most price worthy brand purchase I've ever made!
