Taobao Mini Haul

A while ago I laid my eyes on a blouse from the Taobao brand Dear Celine. Since I liked the design a lot I decided to try out buying from them, and get a better petticoat while I was at it. I picked Classical Puppet's "Daily Bell Shape Petticoat", as I wanted a moderate amount of poof.

I loved all the colorways a lot! But I decided to go for the white one.

After doing some research and quick review-reading, I decided to use Taobaonow as my shopping service. I must say I am very happy with their service. I personally can't find anything I was displeased with. I got quick replies, they were very friendly, and their shopping cart system was easy to use, so I didn't feel so nervous as I tried to get my order right (I am no veteran when it comes to shopping services. I am always afraid I will do something wrong, but I have realized it's actually a very easy process and nothing to be worried about.) And it was very nice seeing the price including service fees included before ordering.

I received my items without any hassle, and I was so shocked when I picked up my parcel at the post office. It was tiny! It was hard believing they had been able to squeeze in a blouse and a petticoat (even if it was a smaller model) in there. The blouse came out a bit wrinkly, but the parcel was well packaged, so all my items were safe from harm during their trip.

Both the blouse and the Petti were as I had imagined them. I feel comfortable with the size of the petticoat, it gives a pretty full shape, but I don't feel like a wedding cake ready to destroy everything in its path. And the blouse is super comfortable and lovely.

A simple coord to try out my new items!

Sweet Shopping Spree

Some time ago, my friend Josefin and I decided we should go on a crazy shopping spree together. An internet shopping spree that is. I even made a little shop list, so that I wouldn't forget what I wanted to buy, since I tend to do that a lot...

I met up with Josefin in the afternoon on valentine's day, and we then made our way home to me. When we got home, we started making dessert for the evening - Señor Arpakasso's Black Forest Verrine! None of us had ever tried any of his recipes and it was a lot of fun finally doing so. And the result was delicious.

Our (not as pretty, hehe) verrines

After we were done making preparations we changed into lolita (we didn't want to spill chocolate mousse on our preciousss dresses). Here are our outfits:

Outfit rundown:

Dress: Innocent World
Cutsew: Innocent World
Socks: Bodyline
Accesories: Offbrand
Wig: Ebay

We spent the rest of the night eating and filming a short video for our Youtube chanle.

After that... we were too exhausted to do any shopping! We tried looking around a little, but after a while we gave up, and decided to go to bed.

Our very silly video~

The next morning, after a good nights sleep, we got up, and had breakfast while watching a Magical Girl anime named Mermaid Melody. It's a really cute and colorful anime, with lots of cute music in it. And mermaids, of course.

After being rested and fueled by hot chocolate, toast, and magical girl energy, we decided to give the shopping another go. I went to buy a bunch of cute, pastely accessories that I had been keeping an eye on, some bloomers, some casual, summery clothes, and a cute case for my 3DS. I also helped Josefin to order from Closet Child - an adorable, black Baby, The Stars Shine Bright Dress named Early Summer Chocolate Strawberry Parfait. It's her first Baby dress, so I was super happy for her!

Josefins dress!

After a while Josefin had to go home, but we had had a great time together. Already looking forward to see her again, and hopefully get to see her new dress in person, as I am a big fan of that print too, haha!
