One of the summer adventures I had been looking forward to the most this summer was going to one of Sweden's biggest conventions together with my friends! I've been going for the past four years now, and this year was as enjoyable as ever!
The trip didn't start out so well though. There were a lot of complications with the train me, my brother Niklas, and my friend Josefin were taking to get there. We ended up at the convention three hours later than we had expected. I know it could have been a lot wore (but it was reaaaly hot that day, so we were all very irritable haha) and our friend Jennifer, who arrived very early had to wait really long for us to get there!
This is a snapchat we sent her to show how sad/annoyed/sorry we were:
But in the end we got there safe and sound, and we had a fun evening nonetheless, putting up our tent, eating and browsing the convention area.
Day two was lolita day! And let me tell you: tents + lolita + suffocating summer heat is a terrible idea. But we somehow survived putting our frills on. But sadly, the weather wasn't getting better, so we just basically kept walking around feeling super warm...
But it was still a lot of fun. We met a lot of people, went to a little meet up, browsed all the shops, watched the first Pokemon Movie (for like the millionth time... it's quite a fun experience at conventions though!)
When I realized I hadn't taken any outfit photos that day it was quite dark, and the lightning inside wasn't all that flattering... So since the lamp in the ceiling cast a pretty scary shadow over my face, I put a sticker over it to hide my monstrous side...
Then we spent the rest of the night doodling and drinking milkshake at Mc Donalds (we basically spent all our evenings there).
Josefin drew us all!
I drew a mix of our over all experience!
Jennifers and Niklas Drawings!
The day after we did a pretty casual NANA coplay! Not many people rocognized us, but it was really fun anyway!
We didn't take that many pictures during the weekend, but we all had a good time.
